 How can arguing and giving up any "right" to our own opinion save our lives, improve our country, and secure the future for the next generation?



The right to my opinion essay

Do we always have to agree with others opinions ? Well first of all, sometimes it's good to give up on an argument to prevent any type of violent behavior coming from the other persons point of view. I can give up on an argument when I believe the other person is not understanding or cooperating to understand my believes. I will not give up on my "rights"just to please the other person, I may  silent myself, but will continue fighting for my " rights" in various ways. For example, educating myself , advocating for my rights and joining societies who believe the way I do. By educating ourselves and acting mature we can save lives, improve our country and secure the future for the next generation. "The constitution guarantees an equal right to have an opinion but it does not ensure every opinion is equal" according to (www.kevinathompson.com/ignore-opinion/).  I have to agree with Kevin a Thompson every opinion has its own side not everyone agrees with an opinion which is very sad sometimes because the way others think can be immature and disturbing , If i can change the world I would change it into a positive environment.

    You make a good point about avoiding violence. In reading that first sentence, I was starting to get concerned that bullies would win every time, when you addressed it with a great strategy! Thanks for sharing your ideas.

FINAL REFLECTION FOR WORLD LITERATURE 2020-2021

This semester was unlike any other because we started off the year being home! Never in a million years would I have thought about having school in my own bedroom through a computer while wearing pajamas. This course was different from all the other courses because this year I had to sit in a chair for seven hours with a few short breaks and after all those hours I had to sit a little longer to finish my homework that was due that day while getting distracted by little kids in my houses running around yelling. We also didn't get to see each other in person for this first course instead we only heard our voices and that's if we were having a good day because on other days we just sit in silence waiting for someone brave to speak up.   As I look back on our experiences in this class what was more meaningful to me was the fact that Dr. Preston gave us time to finish our work he even made us a chart to keep record of our homework or to check what was due that day or the next day. How we read

 Reading for me is a way to get away from the world it helps me relax my mind and discover a new place. The way I got introduced to reading was in elementary when we used to read for thirty-minutes and then get our parents to sign it  I'm gonna admit I never enjoyed reading as a kid so I would just stare at a page for thirty minutes and tell my mom I read until one day in class I got told to go up in front of everyone and tell them what the book was about. I was embarrassed I just stood there looking at everyone blank my hands were sweaty and I felt like throwing up. I made up something so I wouldn't look so stupid but obviously my teacher knew I made up something because she has read the book. That was a lesson learned every since that day I payed attention to every book I read I even found out what kind of books I really liked and what books I didn't find so interesting. Journal- Thankful For

 Thanksgiving has to be one of my favorite holidays just because we spend a whole day appreciating people around us at a dinner table. The only time my family gets together is during thanksgiving and Christmas but thanksgiving is different because just sit down eat and have a good time later in the day we play board games along with card games which is exciting. We don't realize how much our family means to us until we have a close dinner all together we look around and just think how blessed we are to even have a family dinner. All of the angry fights I've had with my siblings all just go away...unless they steal the last bread on my plate then that's a different story. But I hope everyone has one thing they are thankful for this year at least one or it could be a lot of things as well. Happy early Thanksgiving
