Hack to school night !!

 1. What has been the hardest part of starting school during the pandemic?

The biggest problem for me is the internet and the distractions I have inside my house I have a little nephew who just started preschool so there are a lot of singing and dancing. The internet on the other hand has really bad poor connection it maybe the location by where I live but it gets very frustrating at times especially when I am trying to connect into a zoom meeting. 

2. What have you enjoyed the most about starting school during the pandemic?

What I have been enjoying most about starting school during the pandemic is that I get to stay in my pj's while being in school ! 

3. What are your goals in this course this year? What do you want to learn or get better at?

My goals for this year have to be to stay focused and to stop procrastinating on my assignment, I would also wanna write more essays this year just because I would want to improvement on my writing and on my vocabulary. 

4. What's one habit you can start, stop, or improve to support your success?

One habit that I can start doing is turning in my assignments early and on time instead of last minute just because time goes by fast and I can not type very quick so I would say to turn in my assignments early so I can prevent last minute stress. 

5. What grade do you expect to earn on the semester report card?

I am expecting to get a B+ or higher this semester just because I am pushing my expectations a little more this year. Personally I know I can do it I just need to stop being lazy because my laziness won't take me nowhere

FINAL REFLECTION FOR WORLD LITERATURE 2020-2021

This semester was unlike any other because we started off the year being home! Never in a million years would I have thought about having school in my own bedroom through a computer while wearing pajamas. This course was different from all the other courses because this year I had to sit in a chair for seven hours with a few short breaks and after all those hours I had to sit a little longer to finish my homework that was due that day while getting distracted by little kids in my houses running around yelling. We also didn't get to see each other in person for this first course instead we only heard our voices and that's if we were having a good day because on other days we just sit in silence waiting for someone brave to speak up.   As I look back on our experiences in this class what was more meaningful to me was the fact that Dr. Preston gave us time to finish our work he even made us a chart to keep record of our homework or to check what was due that day or the next day. How we read

 Reading for me is a way to get away from the world it helps me relax my mind and discover a new place. The way I got introduced to reading was in elementary when we used to read for thirty-minutes and then get our parents to sign it  I'm gonna admit I never enjoyed reading as a kid so I would just stare at a page for thirty minutes and tell my mom I read until one day in class I got told to go up in front of everyone and tell them what the book was about. I was embarrassed I just stood there looking at everyone blank my hands were sweaty and I felt like throwing up. I made up something so I wouldn't look so stupid but obviously my teacher knew I made up something because she has read the book. That was a lesson learned every since that day I payed attention to every book I read I even found out what kind of books I really liked and what books I didn't find so interesting. Journal- Thankful For

 Thanksgiving has to be one of my favorite holidays just because we spend a whole day appreciating people around us at a dinner table. The only time my family gets together is during thanksgiving and Christmas but thanksgiving is different because just sit down eat and have a good time later in the day we play board games along with card games which is exciting. We don't realize how much our family means to us until we have a close dinner all together we look around and just think how blessed we are to even have a family dinner. All of the angry fights I've had with my siblings all just go away...unless they steal the last bread on my plate then that's a different story. But I hope everyone has one thing they are thankful for this year at least one or it could be a lot of things as well. Happy early Thanksgiving
